1820 Oct 28 Old Bailey: ref t18201028-130; Trial of Frederick Abrahams for stealing 20 iron bars, value 2s, property of Joshua Binns, John Binns, an William Morrish, and fixed to their building: JOSHUA BINNS . I am a carpenter and dealer in building materials , and in partnership with John Binns and William Morrish . On the 27th of October I missed these iron bars from the kitchen window, in front of a house which we had bought - they were fixed to the window-frame. I allowed poor people to inhabit the house till it was pulled down. Prisoner age 16 was sentenced to deportation for 7 years.
