1839 Jul 20 Leeds Intelligencer: Mr Geo Binns is a linen thread manufacturer at Lindley, about 2 miles from Huddersfield. He was robbed on the highway of 3 sovereigns and 20 shillings in silver, by 3 men. Two of the men were found guilty and sentenced to 15 years transportation. [Name change between John and George!]
