1887 Nov 23 Manchester Courier: Fire at Eccles.—About half-past three o'clock yesterday morning a fire was discovered at the photographic studio of Mr. William Binns, John William-street, Eccles, and before it could be extinguished the place was gutted. The Eccles Fire Brigade, which was present, directed its attention to saving the adjoining druggist's shop.
