1931 January, 21, Springfield Daily News "ARTHUR WILLIAM BINNS Arthur William Binns, 72, a retired engineer of the Big Four rail road, died suddenly at 11:30 p. m. Tuesday at his home, 2216 E. Main St. He retired two years ago. Mr. Binns leaves two brothers Charles W. Binns of Ravenna, and Walter A. Binns of England; two sisters, Miss Louise Binns and Mrs. Frances Townsend, both of England. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church; Springfield Lodge, independent Order of Oddfellows; and the Brotherhood of Firemen and Locomotive Engineers. The body was taken to Jackson funeral home."
