2009 Obituary at Eagle Tribune, North Andover, Massachusetts: Born in Lawrence, he grew up in North Andover, graduating from Johnson High School and later attended the night program at Lowell Technological Institute training to become a chemist. During World War II he enlisted in the Army earning a Purple Heart in Germany and landed on Utah Beach on D-Day. He worked as a dyestuff chemist and later as a salesman for American Analine Products and Koppers Company out of Cranston, R.I. He was predeceased by his wife of almost 60 years, Constance Walker Binns and brother Robert Binns. He is survived by his son David and his wife Linda of Attleboro, daughter Susan Alosky and her husband Joseph of Windham, and Port Orange, Fla, four grandchildren, Jason Alosky and his wife Halie of Windham, Rachel Alosky of Asheville, N.C, Ellen Binns of Denver, Steven Binns of Jackson Hole, Wyo, and his beloved friend and companion Elsie Hearns of Montreal.
