1984 Notes taken by Gwenda of conversation with Lily Binns,"Grandpa Jones lived in the first cottage [in the photograph of Oldfield] and kept a parrot (or monkey) or both? we shall never know. His catch phrase was "blow my jolly head". He smoked a clay pipe.
